The Department of Mathematics provides a unique educational experience for the undergraduate interested in applied mathematics. Our faculty is dedicated to excellence in teaching and research. We not only provide a full range of mathematics courses to support all Embry-Riddle programs, but offer a Bachelor's degree in Computational Mathematics, where students blend mathematical theory and computational techniques to address real world problems arising in such fields as aerospace engineering, meteorology, and geophysics. Some of our courses involve an expanded use of modeling and data visualization tools to help students understand mathematical ideas in a scientific context.
